SFS’s acquisition of T&M.

Truelove & Maclean is proud to announce that effective April 1, 2020, T&M becomes part of the SFS Group AG, a leading global provider of mechanical fastening systems and precision components, headquartered in Heerbrugg Switzerland.

With annual revenues of approximately 3 billion USD, more than 140 manufacturing sites located in twenty-six countries around the world and 13,500 employees; SFS is a global player and leading producer of machined, deep drawn, cold formed and plastic injection molded products. SFS serves diverse markets that include amongst others, automotive, aerospace, medical and construction industries.

Currently, SFS serves North America from multiple plants including its cold-forming and machining plant in Medina Ohio, several medical device manufacturing plants in the USA and Costa Rica, and construction fastening system plants in Ontario Canada and New Castle Delaware.

SFS’s acquisition of T&M is a strategic move to expand the Group’s global manufacturing platform, enabling SFS to supply precision deep drawn, and progressive die components to its customers in North America as a local manufacturer.

Our association with SFS serves to strengthen and benefit all parties including T&M customers and suppliers. T&M’s entire workforce, including all management personnel, will continue in their current positions and operations will proceed as normal from our Watertown Connecticut facility.
